Capitol.fm radio launches world news service for worldwide audience
Capitol.fm has launched a new 24 hour world news s ervice with top of the hour bulletins and half hour headlines. The new services keeps listeners in countries throughout up to
speed on world events while listening to Capitol's award winning music mix.
Capitol.fm has teamed up with an independent news organisation with bureaus all over the world to bring our listeners hourl news bulletins with new headlines at the half hour. In
May 2014 Capitol.fm's successful relationship with CBS News was terminated. The Capitol.fm programming set out to find an international news solution. The answer was Feature
Story News or FSN. The new news service brings a growing worldwide internet radio audience up to date with world news every 30 minutes online.
The new Capitol.fm World News service is now scheduled to broadcast precisely at the top of the hour 24 hours a day with news headlines at the half hour.
The aim of the new Capitol.fm World news service is:
- To give hourly and half hours international news updates.
- To offer listeners a credible and unbiased source of news.
- To offer a professional and stylish presentation of the news.
- To offer news report that is global but aimed at a western audience.
